Sabbath services in BATON ROUGE

Spirit-Filled Sabbath Keepers in Baton Rouge

Our strong Apostolic roots mean a spirit-filled experience from the moment you walk in the door. We believe in the power of prayer and demonstrative worship. We begin our services with prayer, praise, and worship, then move into teaching, followed by fellowship. It’s an experience that is as transforming as it is inspiring.

Children get a kid-friendly lesson and activities at Sabbath Kids. After praise and worship they will gather in the Sabbath Kids room for fun and learning.

We are in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and are easily accessible from Central, Zachary, Baker, Denham
Springs, and I-110.

Meet the pastoral team

Meet Pastor and Sister Mayberry

Pastor Mayberry was filled with the Holy Ghost when he was 19 years old. He started out in the Apostolic church, but then he started seeing how some church traditions don’t line up with scripture. Around 2010, Yehovah started working on him about the Sabbath and feast days. In 2011, he and his wife, Stephanie, observed their first Passover.

Over the years, they studied, grew, and came to understand that keeping the Sabbath and feast days, keeping Torah, is not just necessary, it is required.

Little by little, with deep study of the Word of Yehovah, they came to understand that in order to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, we all need the Spirit of Acts 2:38 and the Truth of Torah. THAT is truly Apostolic.

In around 2019 they started a weekly Bible study sitting at a friend’s kitchen table. This has grown into a full-fledge ministry as Pastor Mayberry has come to realize and answer the calling that God put on his life to feed His sheep.

In 2020, during morning prayer, Yehovah gave Pastor and Sister Mayberry the directive to “make war here.”

And that is what they are doing.
